Happy belated Valentines Day!

Well, I just now finally finished my "Happy Valentine's Day" picture! Soooo.... happy valentine's day, people! I'm glad I at least remembered to say it before the end of February. ^^

Poor Bird :(

Well, Calypso the canary-yellow parakeet had an accident Thursday. I was sitting in my bedroom, harmlessly minding my own business, when I noticed that Cal had been playing with the door of her cage for an unreasonably long amount of time. On closer inspection, I realized that poor Cal had the ID ring on her foot stuck on a paperclip used to keep the cage door locked. Well, I untangled her, but this morning I noticed that she still isn't using her poor little foot. I took her out, and that foot is definitely hurt. :(

On a completely and totally un-related note, yesterday I handed out all my beloved Stone Soup magazines to the kids at Shakespeare Club. I knew they'll all seriously enjoy them, but it was very hard to part with all that amazing art. I'll bet'cha a dollar that my friend Greta will enter something in Stone Soup now that she knows about it. :)

My latest.... er......

well, obsession.

"Obsession"..... featuring the wolf J.J. who, yes, would probably be addicted to a computer if he had one. :)

Jay Bonz... the bad guy. He likes to destroy stuff, and carries a mace everywhere he goes.

and Redmoon, the farmer. (I think his wife probably put his chess settings on easy, actually.)

I'm doing some more. **nods** It was hilarious when my parents saw them, they laughed so hard. :)

More Felix and Leo

Well, if you remember my "Felix and Leo" post a few weeks ago (link HERE) You'll probably recognize this drawing:

Well, the other day I was infinitely bored, and this is what happened:

i may finish the shading, and their legs and everything some time, but for now, I'm all worn out. ;)

Artist Trading Cards?

Well, apparently there's something called "Artist Trading Cards". Artists draw their cards and trade them. One guy described it as being a little like a mixture of art, baseball cards, and business advertising. Anyway, I wanted to see if I could draw on a card that small (2 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches) and this is what I made:

The black and white isn't completely alone in my gallery... I think being confined to bed with a fever has had a very black-and-white effect on me. Here's another picture I drew in only those two colors:

Yay yay yay yay yay!! My friend Greta drew me this totally awesome picture of one of my story characters!! It makes me very happy. :)

Kenna (er... the character...) has awesome electrical powers, hence the light bulb and the title of the piece: "Light It Up". Anyway, I just had to share that because it makes me so thrilled. ;)

To see more of my awesome amazing friend person's artwork, check out her deviantART page HERE!! She's seriously talented, both in writing and drawing! :)

Best. Commercial. Ever.

The only problem: I want the kid, not the car.

Volkswagen "The Force" commercial

and the bloopers and deleted scenes are just as hilarious....

"The Force" deleted scenes

This is definitely the single cutest commercial of all time. :)

Yes. This is me. Oh, the pictures my sister posts of me on Facebook..... but hey! I was much younger! That was like, a whole YEAR AGO!! I'm totally much more mature now!

Anyway, the comments were the things that cracked me up.
John Owen: Wow, you look dazzling.
Maya: Um... what were you doing there?
Some friend of my mom's: Throw in an eyepatch and you'll look like a pirate. ARGH!

Oh! Oh! On a totally unrelated note, THIS PERSON TOTALLY DESERVES A MEDAL, or something. Talk about a lot of hairdo's!!

And on another random note, check out this guy. He's a pretty good poet, and he reminds me of my friend Calvin. (Even though Calvin is totally not a poet. He likes to speak German to me when we're chatting via email.)

Also, finally, sorry for this very long, random blog entry. I'm still suffering from a fever, as well and a headache and the fact that I've only been eating [drinking :P] chocolate milk (best. stuff. ever.) and Ritz Crackers. (second best. stuff. ever.) I'm just about to die of boredom and sickness. And blasted snowdays. (I spent about 67% of my day trying to think of a single redeeming quality of snowdays. I couldn't think of one... guess that's what I get for being home schooled.)

Anyway, Good. Bye. I'm zipping the lip now. Seriously. I am.

Carrying on the Family Tradition....

.... of getting sick on Kievan's birthday. Yup, I'm dizzy, feverish, and I have a sore throat and a headache and a cough. If it wasn't for my favorite TV show, Smallville, chocolate milk and Ritz crackers, I'd probably be dead right now.

But anyway, happy happy happy happy birthday, Kievan! Maybe next year will be a little better. ;)

Lately, I've just been drawing a lot of random people. Here are a few of them..... I still haven't scanned all of them yet. :)

Uh.... sorry.

Um, this is a test..... go back to your lives, people. AT EASE!
