How a cat (who is not mine) came to have a nick-name

There is a certain tabby cat (the most beautiful cat I have ever seen) who comes around our house occasionally. He is very pretty, and happens to be sweet as well! Well, as I was feeding the rabbits, he came by to say hello! "Hello, Willie." I said to him, because that just happens to be the nick-name I gave the cat. Why? For William Blake's poem, of course! Here it is!

My Saint!

Did you know that instead of Halloween my family celebrates All Saints' Day? Yes, and I'm going to dress up as St. Scholastica! (hope I spelled that right) She's a nun, and the twin sister of St. Benedict, the monk and hermit! Ben's going to be St. Benedict, so I'm his sis! Well, my costume is ready, so I can't wait for candy!

Octopuses again!

Hey, did you watch the video of the octopus I put a link to the other day? Well, If you didn't, you'd better, because this post is about that video. I think it is probably real. But, I have seen real videos of octopuses, so even if this one isn't real, the octopus is an incredible creature and you can't deny it. Well, anyway, watch that video, and then think about this. How on earth could that just randomly happen? Doesn't it look like an alien? What do you think about it? My answers to these questions are:
1.No way it could randomly happen!!! God made it!
2.Yes, it looks like a very strange alien, like an escapee from a science fiction movie!
3.I think it is COOL! And actually kind of cute! But that's just me. Hey, its actually my favorite
animal!

Math!

Did you know that I hate math? Well, I do. Kiki hates it too. But if you look in our math notebooks you will see that it has "I love math" written all over it. Why? Because we are trying to brainwashing ourselves. Seriously! It would be so helpful to like it! But, as you can guess, it has not worked. Yet.

And... MY BIRDS! Well, the blue, yellow, and brown one is 1 third mine, and the blue one is totally mine. I spent my money on both of them, so I don't know how it came to be only 1 third mine. Well, anyway, I named them Tom Thumb and Thumbelina! Aren't they cute? OK, i know I'm going a little bonkers over them, so I'll end the post!

Octopuses again!

Hey, my Poppy came across this incredible video of an octopus.

October!

Hi! Did you know today is the first day of October? That means fall! I love fall! Don't you? The leaves are so pretty, and you get to rake them, and you get to carve pumpkins, and play outside because the weather is perfect! Yes, I like fall.


Also, on October 4 we celebrate St. Francis of Assisi, So I will have a cool post for people who like animals!

Octopus!

Hello! Today I am going to write about one of my favorite things. Octopuses! Did you know it is my favorite animal? Well, it is, no matter how crazy it sounds. Go to youtube.com and look up octopuses, and I guarantee you will be amazed, or at lest, I guarantee you will see why it could be my favorite animal. Ok, I've got to go! Bye!

Pancakes.

Do you want to know a very strange fact about me? That fact is that I hate pancakes! Yes, this is true. I hate them, because they are not filling, and not very yummy. And the rest of my family loves them. So, alas, I must eat pancakes on days like today. OK, I won't say any more.

Seed Id Results!

I got 6th place! I also got a check for a bit of money! I didn't even know you got a check for 6th place! Well, I had fun. While there I got a couple of cows to be my models, and read, and drew some more, and read some more and drew... Ok, you get the idea. But it was fun!

Sick.

Oh, we're sick. We've gotten the flu. I feel rotten. Well, actually, I felt rotten yesterday, and today I feel as though someone scraped the rotten part out, and left a tiny rotten part still in. Oh, well. And guess what, the fair ends in two days, and we still haven't gone. I really want us all to get better SOON!

The seed ID is today! I wish myself luck!


Also, I learned that although St. Bernadette died a LONG time ago, her body remains uncorrupted. Weird! Freaky! A miracle!

Fair!

Hey, the fair is this week starting... Today! I'm going to enter Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies, for the recipe click here. Well, I'm also entering a paper doll collection, a painting of St. Benedict and St. Scholastica (I don't think I spelled it right, but she's St. Benedict's sister.) Pretzels, that will be in the Sunshiny Cookbook soon, and some other items. I'm also doing a huge seed ID thing that I was in last year, (I won 3rd place in about 150 people, not exaggerating!), and our 4-H group put up a booth about Childhood Cancer. Getting ready has NOT been easy, though.

School!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know this may sound crazy, but I can't wait for school! I love school so much! (except for math.) This year I'm in 7th Grade, and I'm going to be learning world history and stuff like that. Oh, I just can't wait!

Back.

Well, were back from our totally awesome, incredibly sweet, amazingly fun trip to North Carolina/Virginia Vacation! I miss everybody so much! Well, I guess I can't say it isn't pretty nice to be back home... no place like home!





But I still miss good ol' Virginia.

This week... in fact tomorrow, we are starting on our vacation trip! We've packed all our stuff! (well, toys...) and us kids are ready to go! There will be lots of cousins and dogs and that equals fun! Well, goodbye for now! Oh, and my summer fun list is:
