Some Pictures :)
My latest drawing..... based on a Chinese dragon....
Beowulf playing in the snow. He loved that stuff!
A.C. and Beowulf. A.C. can barely hold onto him!
Peanut from our trip to VA. His hat looked so colorful with the rest of the grey landscape. Believe it or not, I did not do any special color effects to it to make it look so grey!
Beowulf on a chair.
A picture from my trip to CA....
Me at my cousin's summer camp...
Beowulf asleep on my backpack...
My siblings goofing off at lunch......
The view from an airplane.... isn't it spectacular?
The Parable of the Sower Matthew 13:1-23
In this story, Jesus told about the word of God being like seed that a sower (or a farmer) threw out. It fell on many kinds of soil.
Some of the seed fell by the wayside, along the path. The birds came down and ate the seed. This is like the person who hears the message, but does not understand it. The evil one comes and takes it away.
Some seed fell on the rocky ground. The plants came up quickly, but there was not much earth so the plants dried up. This is the person who receives the word, but falls away when trouble comes.
Some seed fell on the thorny ground and the thorn bushes choked the seed. This is the person who is worried about life and wealth.
Then some of the seed fell on good ground. Those seed grew into healthy plants and produced a good crop, some a hundredfold, some sixtyfold and some thirtyfold.
"The good soil," said Jesus, " is like people who are honest. When they hear God's word, they remember it, and do what God says." These people produce a bountiful crop for the Lord.

Nest Eggs
Here in the fork
The brown nest is seated;
Four little eggs
The mother keeps heated.
While we stand watching her
Staring like gabies,
Safe in each egg are the
Bird's little babies.
Soon the frail eggs they shall
Chip, and upspringing
Make all the April woods
Merry with singing.
~(excerpt "Nest Eggs") Robert Louis Stevenson
A Random Quote
"If the whole universe had no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning: just as, if there were no light in the universe, and therefore no creatures with eyes, we should never know it was dark. Dark would be without meaning."

Some of my Drawings
First, a pen picture of a zebra centaur. She is supposed to be African-American, but you can't really tell. The stripes took me ages!
I have been quite obsessed with griphons lately, and this is a very quickly drawn one in crayon. As you can tell, his wings aren't finished yet, and I forgot to give him a beak. Oh, well.
A four-headed dragon I drew a couple of years ago, I was quite interested in multiple-headed dragons at that time.
Another dragon, drawn a couple of weeks ago. Pencil, crayon, and colored pencil. I call her "Cascade" as she is obviously breed "Aqua Dragon" ;)
Another dragon. My last, which was drawn on the same day as that four-headed one. Not a true dragon breed. lives underwater. I like it :)

Great Book:
Read the Mysterious Benedict Society!
It's an excellent book about a group of children (Reynie, Sticky, Kate, and Constance) who must save the world from evil Dr. Curtain. This excellent book has an interesting plot and interesting, friendly (except maybe for Constance) characters. Five stars!

a C. S. Lewis veiw of Heaven
(Describing the fruit of heaven)
"What was the fruit like? Unfortuntley, no one can describe the taste. All I can say is that when compared to those fruits, the freshest grapefruit you've ever eaten was dull, the juiciest orange was dry, and the most melting pear was hard and woody, and the sweetest wild strawberry was sour. And there were no seeds or stones or wasps. If you had once eaten that fruit, then all the nicest things in this world would taste like medicines after it."
